EPIC has announced that the main event of the April 6th episode of Chaos will be the first ever Violence Invitational Gauntlet Match. The idea was a collaborative effort from CEO and Founder Robert Quinn, his Advisor of Violence Captain Howdy, and agreed upon by majority shareholder Analicia Morales-Connors.
"Since we brought EPIC back on March 8th the Violence Division has been the thing that has stood out from the pack and really brought eyes to the product." Quinn began, "We feel like the three men who have already held the championship deserve to be showcased and even tossed around the idea of having them in a Three Way Dance for the title as the main event for our return to Pay Per View at REBIRTH on April 19th but thought the crowning of our first World Champion needed to headline. So we decided not only to have the Violence Invitational Gauntlet but an entire show built around the division as a lead in to REBIRTH."
An excited Robert Quinn went on to say that every match on April 6th will be contested under Violence Rules. The show which has officially been dubbed "A Night of Violence" will be capped off by a match that will feature every EPIC superstar that is not previously scheduled to compete as well as the door being opened up to outsiders.
"We want this to be a big deal not just for EPIC but throughout the industry. Send us the most hardcore competitor on your roster for one night and see if they can match the level of violence that current champion Kyūkyoku no Kyōjin, Daniel Dream, and El Diablo Blanco have been showing every week in EPIC."
Quinn also said that Kyōjin has insisted that he start the match, living up to his Madman nickname. One name that many expected to be a lock for an eventual run with the title will be absent from the match, Anton" Scar" Scarlov. Scar has been a staple of the division and has been a Deathmatch competitor since the early 2000s as well as capturing the Tremor Wrestling Hardcore Championship in the only known Exploding Scaffold match back in 2004. Scarlov was brutally attacked this past week on Chaos, presumably by newly signed Eli Hix considering the large "HIX" tattoo on Scar's chest. Hix has already commented on his own participation in the match.
"Fire? Glass? Mops? Brooms? These motherfuckers don't know what violence is, Charlie does." Hix said, referring to himself in the third person as Charlie.
Depending on the number of participants the match is expected to last for well over an hour, possibly two or more, according to an Amazon Prime Executive.
"Amazon is committed to EPIC and we're prepared to give them as much time as needed." the unnamed executive declared before adding, "We'll also be promoting this event as well as the REBIRTH PPV across all of our advertising platforms."
Another sponsor for the event will be Taco Bell who have signed EPIC star El Diablo Blanco as a spokesman. The Flamin' Diablo Burrito goes on sale across the world on April 6th in conjunction with the event.
He sure to tune in to an unforgettable evening as EPIC, Amazon Prime, and Taco Bell present Chaos "A Night of Violence" featuring the first ever Violence Invitational Gauntlet this Monday!
