Here it is the moment no one's been waiting for...
Another solid Dragan Hill promo. It did suffer a bit from not knowing what was said at parts. I'm interested in what will happen once he's in a feud.
The Okami segment was a good introduction. I like how we still aren't told who it is due to the censorship, but there is obviously some history there. A lot of people have history in EPIC.
Nanners is progressing. I know it must be a fun character for Jake to write. He shoved a banana down a woman's throat...brutal.
The Violence segment was good. It's nice to see each character with their own motivations. This Dr. is sketchy AF but it makes sense. New rules define the division further. That Captain Howdy bastard never rests.
I'd prefer not to be in the ring with this Hix guy. He seems like a crazy psycho and a perfect fit for the Violence division.
Madman also proved he was the rightful champ. I bet his title reign won't last long. They never seem to.
Poor Stone He has to be a pawn in the Drake/Dizzie rivalry? Feud? I guess it's both? Either way good job advancing the story.
Alright I don't know the whole history behind the characters but that Moros/Drake stuff was great. There was a lot to digest and I think it was done well. Again there are so many relationships between characters that you never know what you're going to find out. Moros didn't handle things like I thought he would. He's much darker than I realized and I write stuff with the character every week. This is probably one of my favorite segments in EPIC so far. It really felt bigger than a wrestling show.
The El Diablo stuff seemed like a natural progression. He really is on fire. I hope that more comes of the Taco Bell stuff than just the Night of Violence promotion. Oh on a personal note, always minus onion.
We've been getting less Frank Lowe which sucks but the feud with Terra is still getting progressed. Proof you don't need a big elaborate setup.
This show read pretty quick, with some new character introductions and stories moving forward. It also helps when I get to skip a bunch. Good job everyone!
Best Face: I'm going to go with Madman on this one. Proved he was champion material and has just been solid.
Best Heel: Even though he didn't make a proper debut I think Hix was impactful. I almost voted for Moros again but I'm not sure about him yet.
Best Segment: Father/Son Bonding. Really good stuff.
Best Match: Main event…
Moo Moment of the Week!!! No Onions!!!
