After days of meetings concerning the EPIC Egg Hunt and the controversy surrounding it founder and CEO Robert Quinn appeared on the Card Counters a local afternoon drive talk show in the Las Vegas area to discuss what happened and break the news about who would be added to the Violence title match on Sunday.
"It's been a wild couple of days for sure." Quinn began, "I had no idea that something that was supposed to be a fun little break from the norm on an off week leading up to our return to PPV would turn out to have the FCC seriously threatening to shut us down because of pressure from PETA after they found out one of our performers killed a rabbit during the filming."
When the host asked Mr. Quinn why the rabbit was there he had the following to say.
"We had rabbits and chickens running all over the field just to create a fun Easter environment. The FCC said we were trying to draw in younger viewers but that was never the case. We know our product is definitely not kid friendly. We also knew that in this type of contest for a chance to be in the Violence Championship match that these eight guys and girls would go all out. I don't even think that psychopath Hix cares about the championship. He just wanted to hurt people and in this case animals too."
After the host pestered him for the duration of the interview to reveal who won the CEO finally gave in and broke the news.
"We planned on letting her reveal it on her social media but you guys are relentless so I'll tell you, it was Risa. We couldn't be happier to have her in the match after taking Daniel Dream to his limit during his reign with the title. She can bring something to the match that the other three can't and that's a definite speed advantage. She's got her work cut out for her though." Quinn said in closing.
