The following press release was sent out to the media early Tuesday morning confirming the theme and main event for Chaos 9.
"Coming off the heels of Chaos 8 and the huge six person tag team match that closed the show, as well as the announcement that the company will crown their first tag team champions on May 31st at Mayhem: Devil’s Due, EPIC has revealed the theme for its Pre PPV episode of Chaos and that is UNITY. While not every match on the card will be a tag team contest the majority of the matches will be, including the previously announced Team RISA versus Team Angel Kash and the three men and a banana involved in the Elite title match up splitting into teams as the champion Maverick teams with Nanners to take on "The Prodigal Son" Dragan Hill and Skag. Joining the two matches already announced you will also see the impressive new team of Jonny Johnson and Mercy Pain who came up just short against The Kaiju Krushers try to right the ship against another of the teams that will compete for the new titles at Mayhem in fan favorites Dizzie and Celina del Añil. As if that wasn't enough this blockbuster main event has just been made official as EPIC World Champion El Diablo Blanco teams with the man who defeated him for the Violence Championship Drake Connors to take on their respective opponents at Mayhem: Devil’s Due in "The Aviator" Graham Baker and the enigmatic madman Eli Hix. How will the pair of champions fair against 2/5ths of RI5EN just one week before they defend their titles against them? Chaos: UNITY is certain to be a night that no one will forget."
